People with disabilities constitute approximately 20% of the population.
A person with a disability is defined, according to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, as an individual with a physical, mental, intellectual, or cognitive impairment, whether permanent or temporary, which substantially limits their functioning in one or more major areas of life.
Enosh works to promote the rights of people with psychosocial disabilities and collaborates with coalitions of organizations to advance the rights of people with various disabilities.
As part of its activities, Enosh places great importance on promoting accessibility for people with disabilities in Israel and provides accessible services for individuals with psychosocial disabilities. The association also works to ensure the physical accessibility of its various service centers across the country.
Enosh works, to the extent possible, to make its centers accessible. The attached table details the accessibility arrangements available for each of these centers.
All Enosh activities are supported by rehabilitation staff who provide services to people with psychosocial disabilities.
